INGREDIENTS
- 1 Lakanto Low Carb Pancake Mix
Toppings
- 2-3 Tbsp per waffle - Lakanto Chocolate Flavoured Topping
- 2 tsp banana chips
- 2 tsp pumpkin seeds (optional)
METHOD
- Preheat a waffle iron or a non stick waffle machine.
- make the batter using the Lakanto Low Carb Pancake Mix, (note for a crunchier waffle add 230mls water or your favourite milk to the dry mix in the bottle and shake well, this will make a thick batter).
- allow the batter to rest for 5 minutes and shake again before using.
- pour the batter into the waffle iron and insert your bamboo stick of your choice we used cardboard party straws after we made the waffles and they work really well.
- Lay the cooked waffle on a tray and top with the Lakanto Chocolate Flavoured Topping, pumpkin seeds and banana chips.
Tips:
- The smaller the waffle pieces the better, you can also warm the chocolate topping in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and dip the waffle chunks into the topping like a fondue.
