Time: 60 minutes

Makes: 12 squares

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup oats
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • ½ cup chopped brazil nuts
  • ¼ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup dates, roughly chopped
  • 3 tbsp baking blend
  • 1 tsp cinnamon ground
  • 3 tbsp coconut oil
Method:
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking pan with baking paper.
  2. Place the walnuts, pecans and brazil nuts on the baking paper and place in the oven for 10 minutes to toast the nuts slightly – it’s more delicious! Allow to cool before roughly chopping.
  3. Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl, and combine well.
  4. Pour the mixture back into the lined baking pan and ensure it is smooth and packed very tightly together – flatten down with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool then cut into bars.
