INGREDIENTS

  • 300g Lakanto Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 2 whole eggs
  • 110g melted unsalted butter
  • 4 tbsp full fat milk
  • 4 tbsp Lakanto Classic Bakers Syrup
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • Cocoa powder
  • 80g Lakanto Dark Choc Baking Bits or Sugar-free dark chocolate

METHOD

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 C. Grease a 20cm square cake pan and line with baking paper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl whisk the eggs and milk. Melt the butter and then whisk the butter into the eggs. Add the Lakanto Chocolate Cake mix and whisk until it forms a smooth batter. Add the milk until the batter is smooth and slightly loose.
  3. Melt the chocolate and stir into the cake batter next fold in the chopped walnuts , then spread into the prepared tin.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a crust forms on top (the brownie will look a little soft, but will firm on cooling).
  5. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in pan, then chill for 2 hours.
  6. Remove brownie from pan and cut into 12 squares. Dust with cocoa powder to serve.
