Our Low Carb take on the classic golden malt syrup dumplings.  

Using our own Low Carb Pancake Mix finished with our Golden Malt Syrup. It’s like a nourishing hug in a bowl.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 x Shaker bottle of Lakanto Low Carb Pancake Mix
  • 1/2 tsp bicarb soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup Lakanto Golden Malt Syrup 
  • 3 tbsp of your favourite natural yoghurt
  • Frying oil 

METHOD

Dumplings

  1. Place the bicarb and baking powder into the pancake shaker bottle then follow directions on the back of the pack to make up the batter mix.
  2. Heat oil for 140-150 degrees in a shallow pan ready for frying.
  3. Fry for approx. 3-4 minutes and then drain and place on paper towel.
  4. Place into a small bowl, pour Lakanto Golden Malt Syrup around the dumplings.
  5. Top with your favourite natural yoghurt, or sugar free ice cream and enjoy!
