Time: 60 minutes
Makes: 12 squares
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oats
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- ½ cup coarsely chopped pecans
- ½ cup chopped brazil nuts
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds
- ½ cup dates, roughly chopped
- 3 tbsp baking blend
- 1 tsp cinnamon ground
- 3 tbsp coconut oil
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking pan with baking paper.
- Place the walnuts, pecans and brazil nuts on the baking paper and place in the oven for 10 minutes to toast the nuts slightly – it’s more delicious! Allow to cool before roughly chopping.
- Add all of the ingredients to a large bowl, and combine well.
- Pour the mixture back into the lined baking pan and ensure it is smooth and packed very tightly together – flatten down with a spatula.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Allow to cool then cut into bars.
