Toffee Panna Cotta (98% Sugar Free)

A creamy rich vanilla flavoured dessert snack, sweetened with our delicious brown monkfruit toffee sauce.

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup 100g cream
  • 30g full fat milk 
  • 35g Lakanto Baking Blend 
  • 2g gelatine
TOFFEE SAUCE
  • 50g Lakanto Brown Sweetener
  • 30ml Lakanto Bakers Vanilla Syrup
  • 2 tbsp double cream
METHOD
  1. Soften the gelatine sheet in ice cold water.
  2. Remove the sheets from the water after 5 minutes then squeeze out the water. Set aside.
  3. in a small pot over a low heat bring the cream, milk and Lakanto Brown Sweetener to a slow simmer.
  4. Then stir in the softened gelatine and stir through until dissolved.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool for 10 minutes before pouring into your serving dish or glass.
  6. Set for at 3 hours or overnight.
  7. Combine the Toffee sauce ingredients together bring to the boil and serve at room temperature over the panna cotta

Tip.

  • For an extra caramel flavour use 1 tbsp unsalted butter and put into a small pan and melt until it turns golden brown, then add the brown sweetener and cream and finish with the Vanilla syrup until smooth and creamy.
